Gladiator II Synopsis:
Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) grapples with a split personality, where his alter ego is the infamous Joker, a comedian known for his deadly humor. In the previous film, he committed six murders as the Joker. Now facing trial, his lawyer Maryanne Stewart (Catherine Keener) aims to use his split personality as a defense, arguing that Fleck shouldn’t be held accountable for the Joker’s actions. However, Fleck dismisses her and decides to represent himself, much to the delight of the attention-seeking defense attorney, Harvey Dent (Harry Lawtey). During this tumultuous time, Fleck encounters a troubled singer, Harleen “Lee” Quinzel (Lady Gaga), in jail. She embodies Harley Quinn and is captivated by the Joker, seeing him as her perfect match. Through her influence, Fleck begins to uncover his own musical talents. While he once viewed juniorbola himself as a struggling comic, he now envisions himself as a charismatic performer, reminiscent of Fred Astaire, captivating audiences with his singing and dancing.
